Fibre Optics
Key Stage 4
Meaning
Fibre optics are long flexible cylinders of glass or other transparent material along which light or infra-red can be passed.
About Fibre Optics
- Fibre optic cables are more optically dense so light and infra-red will reflect along the inside of the cable.
- Fibre optics are used for communication and are used in endoscopes.
