Incubators are used to grow colonies of micro-organisms since they grow best at certain temperatures.
Colonies of micro-organisms in laboratories are incubated at around 37°C to growth pathogens for study.
Colonies of micro-organisms in school are incubated at around 25°C to reduce the chances of pathogens growing.
Some incubators are used for premature babies to keep them warm.
