Meaning

The oviduct is a tube connecting the ovary to the uterus allowing the ovum to travel to the uterus in the Female Reproductive System.

About the Oviduct

The oviduct is where the sperm meets the ovum and conception happens.
Sometimes the embryo does not make it to the uterus and starts to grow in the oviduct. This is called an Ectopic Pregnancy and is very dangerous for the female.
