Only one side of The Moon faces the Earth. The other side faces away from the Earth.

A day on The Moon lasts 4 weeks.
Humans first visited The Moon in 1969.

As The Moon orbits the Earth one side of The Moon is always facing the Earth.
As The Moon orbits the Earth the side of The Moon facing The Sun changes. From the Earths point of view The Moon has phases that go from Full Moon to New Moon.
