  • Green
  • Blue
  • Indigo
  • Violet

Meaning

White light is light made from all the colours in a full spectrum.

About White Light

The spectrum of white light can be seen in a rainbow.
A prism can be used to make a spectrum of white light.
The spectrum of white light is made of the following colours:

  • Blue
  • Indigo
  • Violet

A false version of white light can be made by mixing green, red and blue lights. This is because the human eye only has receptors for those three colours so the eye can be tricked into seeing white.
