Meaning
Lenz's law states that the direction of an induced current will oppose the change magnetic field that produced it.
About Lenz's Law
- Lenz's law means that in the generator effect the current induced will have it's own magnetic field which will act as a force against the movement that caused it.
- Lenz's law is related to conservation of energy because it reduces the kinetic energy of the moving object in order to perform electrical work.
