Meaning
A milligram is a unit of mass which is 1000,000 times smaller than the SI Unit for mass, the kilogram.
About Milligrams
- A milligram is shortened to a lower case m with a lower case g mg.
- Milli refers to one thousandth as there are one thousand milligrams in a gram.
- A milligram is 10-6 kilograms.
- Milligrams are usually used to describe doses of drugs.
