Key Stage 4

Meaning

Microcoulombs (µC) are a unit of charge 1,000,000 times smaller than the SI Unit; the Coulomb.

About Microcoulombs

Microcoulombs are shortened to µC with the Greek letter µ and an upper case C.
Micro means one millionth so there are 1,000,000 microcoulombs in a Coulomb.

Converting to Microcoulombs

Unit To convert Microcoulombs
1 megacoulomb (1MC) Convert to microcoulombs x1012 1x1012 µC
1 kilocoulomb (1kC) Convert to microcoulombs x109 1x109 µC
1 Coulomb (1C) Convert to microcoulombs x106 1x106 µC
1 millicoulomb 1(mC) Convert to microcoulombs x103 1x103 µC
1 microcoulomb 1(µC) Convert to microcoulombs x1 1µC
1 nanocoulomb 1(nC) Convert to microcoulombs x10-3 1x10-3 µC
