Key Stage 4
Meaning
A cold front is point where cold air meets warm air.
About Cold Fronts
- At a cold front the cold air sinks and the warm air rises due to the greater density of cold air.
- Cold fronts cause clouds and rainfall as the warm air contains water vapour which condenses as the warm air rises.
