Meaning
A mitochondrion is membrane bound organelle found in eukarytotic cells that is the site of respiration.

Key Stage 4

Meaning

A fungal cell is a eukaryotic cell that has a cell membrane, cell wall, cytoplasm, mitochondria, a permanent vacuole and a nucleus but no chloroplasts.

About Fungal Cells

Fungal cells are found in fungi such as mushrooms and yeast.
The cell wall of a fungal cell is made of chitin.
