Progesterone is a hormone that cause the build up of the uterine lining during the menstrual cycle.
About Progesterone
- Progesterone is secreted by the ovaries.
 - The target organ for progesterone is the uterus.
 - Progesterone causes the lining of the uterus to become thicker and to keep its thickness.
 - Progesterone inhibits the the secretion of follicle stimulating hormone and luteinising hormone.
