Blood glucose regulation is the control of glucose concentration in the blood.

Blood glucose regulation is a type of homeostasis.

Blood glucose regulation is controlled by the pancreas.

When the the concentration of glucose in the blood gets too high the pancreas releases insulin which causes:

Cells to take in more glucose from the blood.
The liver and muscles to turn glucose into glycogen which is then stored in the liver.
Glucose is converted into fat in the fatty tissue for storage.
