A mollusc is an animal like a snail.

A mollusc is an invertebrate animal with no bones that moves using large muscles.

Most molluscs have a shell, like snails.

Some molluscs have no shell, like octopuses.


Snails are molluscs with a muscular body and a shell.	Octopuses are molluscs with 8 muscular tentacles.	Crabs are crustaceans which are a type of invertebrate with muscular bodies with an exoskeleton and 8 jointed legs.
