Meaning
To classify is to things into groups of similar things.
About Classification
When we put things in groups we are classifying them. We put things in groups because it helps us organise the world. You can put all of your red bricks in one pile and all of your blue bricks in another pile and you have classified them by colour. You could could put all your triangle bricks in one pile and all of your square bricks in another and you have classified them by shape.
