Key Stage 4
Meaning
Nanosieverts (nSv) are a unit of radiation dose 1,000,000,000 times smaller than the SI Unit; the Sievert.
About Microsieverts
- Nanosieverts are shortened to nSv with a lower case n, an upper case S and a lower case v.
- Nano means one billionth so there are 1,000,000,000 nanosieverts in a Sievert.
