Sight allows animals to detect shade and colour.

Key Stage 4

Meaning

Sight is one of the 5 main human senses.

About Sight

Sight allows animals to detect shade and colour.
Sight is limited to the visible spectrum.
When an animal detects light receptor cells in the eyes create an action potential which sends an impulse to the central nervous system (CNS).
