Meaning

Plastic deformation is when an object changes shape due to a pair of forces and remains this new shape after those forces are removed.

About Inelastic Deformation

In plastic deformation the extension of an object is increases with a constant force.
When an object is deformed plastically the work done increases the thermal energy store of the object causing it to increase in temperature.
