A force multiplier is a tool to make lifting objects easier.

About Force Multipliers

A force multiplier can be used to lift things that are too heavy to lift with your hands.
There are two main force multipliers you should know:
Lever.png
A lever makes it easier to lift a heavy object.
Pulley.png
A pulley can make it easier to lift an object.

Meaning

A force multiplier is a tool that increases the size of a force by reducing the distance the force moves through compared to the original force.

About Force Multipliers

A Force can be multiplied due to Conservation of Energy. Since Work Done = Force x distance then a tool can make the force larger by making the distance shorter.
