Microsieverts (µSv) are a unit of radiation dose 1,000,000 times smaller than the SI Unit; the Sievert.
About Microsieverts
- Microsieverts are shortened to µSv with the Greek letter µ, an upper case S and a lower case v.
- Micro means one millionth so there are 1,000,000 microsieverts in a Sievert.
