Meaning
Lift is a force made by a wing that acts upwards when the wing moves forwards.
About Lift
- Lift is caused by a shape called an aerofoil.
As the wing moves from right to left it produces lift. |
- Lift only exists when the aerofoil is moving.
- Lift is produced by the wings of planes and the blades of a helicopter.
