The Moon is a large lump of rock orbiting Earth.

The Moon does not make its own light.
The Moon reflects the light of The Sun.
Only one side of The Moon faces the Earth. The other side faces away from the Earth.
The Moon takes 4 weeks to orbit the Earth once.
A day on The Moon lasts 4 weeks.
Humans first visited The Moon in 1969.
