Meaning
A hazard symbol is a picture used to represent a hazard which could cause harm to a living organism.
About Hazard Symbols
- Hazard symbols are attached to chemicals, materials or devices which pose a danger to living organisms.
- Hazard symbols are designed to be simple and understandable to warn people of danger.
- Hazard symbols are similar across many countries so that people of different languages can recognise the danger caused by a hazard.
