Phototropism is a growth response in plants in which their growth responds to light intensity.
About Phototropism
- Phototropism can be positive or negative.
- In the shoot system of plants the growth is due to positive where the shoots grow towards the light.
- In the root system of plants the growth is due to negative where the roots grow away from the light.
