Meaning
Vasodilation is when blood vessels become wider, allowing through a greater volume of blood.
About Vasodilation
- Vasodilation of capillaries in the skin takes place during thermoregulation when the body temperature becomes too high. This allows thermal energy to be lost via the skin to the surroundings.
