About Vertebrates
- There are many different kinds of invertebrate animals.
- Some invertebrates have exoskeletons, which is a hard bony shell on the outside.
- Some invertebrates have no bones at all and just use muscles to move.
Examples
Snails are invertebrates with a muscular body and a hard shell. | Earthworms are invertebrates with no bones at all. | Scorpions are invertebrates with jointed legs and a shell. | Octopuses are invertebrates with no bones and just muscle to move. | Flies are invertebrates with 6 jointed legs. | A crab is an invertebrate with an exoskeleton. |
