A galaxy is a group of millions of stars held together by gravity.
About Galaxies
- Our home galaxy is called The Milky Way which contains around 400 billion stars.
- Galaxies are usually held together by a large Black Hole at the centre. The stars all orbit this central Black Hole.
- Scientists believe there are over 200 billion galaxies in the Universe.
