Key Stage 4

Meaning

An occluded front is when two fronts are moving in the same direction but the rear one is travelling faster and catches up with the other front.

About Occluded Fronts

If the leading front is a warm front then it will be lifted by the cold front that catches up with it.
If the leading front is a cold front then the warm front will slide over the top of it.
