Communism is an economic and political ideology, in which all property is owned by the community for the benefit of the people. There are different schools of thought within communism, such as Marxism and Anarchism, but they are based on the same key principle of class division between the working class, or proletariat, and the capitalist ruling class, or the bourgeouisie.
