The contraceptive patch is a hormonal method of contraception used to prevent pregnancy which takes the form of a patch on the skin.
About the Contraceptive Patch
- The contraceptive patch contains oestrogen and progesterone which inhibit the production of follicle stimulating hormone so that no ova will mature.
- Each contraceptive patch lasts for 7 days before it needs replacing.
