Meaning

Dissipated energy is wasted energy that has spread out in a system so it cannot be recovered to perform useful work.

About Dissipated Energy

Energy is usually dissipated to the thermal energy store of the surroundings.
Once energy has dissipated it can no longer be recovered or used.
