Meaning

A distance multiplier is a tool that increases the distance moved by a force.

About Force Multipliers

A distance can be multiplied due to Conservation of Energy. Since Work Done = Force x distance then a tool can make the distance larger by making the force smaller.
The force provided by the distance multiplier is smaller than the original force.
