Lenz's Law

Lenz's law states that the direction of an induced current will oppose the change magnetic field that produced it.

Lenz's law means that in the generator effect the current induced will have it's own magnetic field which will act as a force against the movement that caused it.

Lenz's law is related to conservation of energy because it reduces the kinetic energy of the moving object in order to perform electrical work.
