To measure is to find out the size of something.
About Measuring
- Measuring is when we find out how big or small something is.
- You can measure lots of different things about an object like how big it is, how hot it is or how quickly it moves.
Examples
- A scientist wants to find the height of a tower.
- A scientist uses a ruler to find out how wide the door is.
- A scientist used a stopwatch out how long they take to eat a sandwich.
Used in a Sentence
- A scientist will measure the height of the tower.
