Meaning

A non-contact force is a force which can act between two objects that are not touching each other.

About Non-contact Forces

Non-contact forces can act over a distance. The objects do not need to be in contact.
Non-contact forces happen when an object is in a field created by another object.

Gravitational Force (Weight)
Magnetic Force
Electrostatic Force
