Meaning

This diagram shows how a pacemaker is connected to the heart.

A pacemaker is a device used to keep a persons heart beating correctly.

About Pacemakers

Pacemakers can be used for people who have had damage to their heart that has killed the Nerve tissue that would normally send the signal around the heart for it to beat.
Pacemakers take the signal from the heart's own natural pacemaker and can amplify the signal to make it stronger and bypass any nerve damage to send the signal where it needs to go.
