Revision as of 13:40, 21 March 2019 by NRJC (talk | contribs) (About Secondary Data=)

Key Stage 2

Meaning

Secondary Data is data that you get from someone else's investigation.

About Secondary Data

Secondary Data can come from a book or the internet or a friend who has done the same experiment.
Not all secondary data can be trusted. Just because it is written in a book or on the internet doesn't mean it's true. Someone might have written fake results.
You should check to make sure your secondary data comes from a reliable source.
Secondary Data is important because you can use it to compare with your results so see if your results are the same everywhere in the world.

Key Stage 3

Meaning

Secondary Data is results taken from another, similar, investigation to your own.

About Secondary Data

Secondary data is used to confirm the results of an experiment or investigation by checking that others can get similar results.
