Key Stage 3
Meaning
To transmit is to send energy or information from one place to another.
Key Stage 4
Meaning
Transmission is the movement of a wave through a medium or from one medium into another.
About Transmission
- When a wave is transmitted through a consistent medium it will travel in a straight line.
- When a wave is transmitted through an interface the wave will be refracted. The degree of refraction of the wave depends upon the angle of incidence that the wave strikes the interface.
