Meaning

A volcanic eruption is a forceful explosion of volcanic material such as steam, environmentally harmful gases, lava and rocks into the air. This often severely damages the environment local to the volcano and can cause loss of human life in local settlements. Volcanic eruptions are often caused by movement in the earth's Tectonic Plates that allows magma to rise to the surface of the earths's crust.
