About Autotrophs

Autotrophs are also known as 'producers'.
Autotrophs are the first trophic level in a community.
Autotrophs usually make their food by photosynthesis in which Carbon Dioxide and Water are converted into Glucose using the energy supplied by sunlight. However, there are some organisms that can use other energy sources to make their own food.
Autotrophs are eaten by heterotrophs.
