Circuit Symbols
Key Stage 2
Meaning
A circuit symbol is a picture we use in a diagram to show a component in a circuit.
About Circuit Symbols
- We use circuit symbols instead of pictures because they are easier to draw and they are used everywhere in the world, even if the components look different.
- Circuit Symbols should be drawn neatly and carefully with a pencil.
- The symbols you should know are:
Electrical Cell | Wires | Electrical Bulb |
Switch | Buzzer | Motor |
