: [[Bromothymol Blue]] is a slightly [[transparentacid]] without colour ic and is orangey-yellow when it is in a [[Neutral (Chemistry)|neutral]] [[not added to another solution]].: [[Bromothymol Blue]] changes colour quickly between [[pH]] 7 6 and 8 to turn pinky purple from orange, through green to blue colour at [[pH]] 8 and beyond.
