About Liquids
About Liquids
: When a substance is in its liquid state it is always more dense than in its gaseous state and usually less dense than its solid state. Water is an exception to this due to how the molecules arrange themselves when it is frozen as ice, see Ice-Water Anomaly.
: A substance which is liquid at room temperature has a larger force of attraction between particles than a subtancesubstance which is gas at room temperature but a weaker force of attraction than a substance which is solid at room temperature.
