Measles is a disease caused by a virus.

About Measles

Measles can cause a rash, blindness and brain damage.
Measles can be spread in the air when people cough or sneeze where the virus exists inside small droplets of water.
There is no treatment for measles so individuals must be quarantined immediately.
There is a vaccination against measles which can prevent someone from becoming infected in the first place.
