About Germination

A seed needs the right conditions to germinate.
A seed needs enough water to germinate.
A seed will not germinate if it is too cold or too hot.
A seed will not germinate if the soil is poisonous to the plant.

Germination and Water

1. Get 2 pots with cotton wool in them.
2. Place 10 cress seeds in each pot.
3. Water 1 pot every day but do not water the other pot.
4. Observe the pots after 1 week.

3. Place 1 pot in a fridge with a glass door, so light can get in.
4. Place the other pot on top of the same fridge.
