A concentration gradient is when one region has a higher concentration of particles than another.
About Concentration Gradients
- When there is a concentration gradient in a fluid particles will diffuse from the higher concentration to the lower concentration until there is no longer a concentration gradient.

- Cells are able to move particles against the concentration gradient by active transport.
