Meaning
Megawatts (MW) are a unit of power 1,000,000 times larger than the SI Unit; the Watt.
About Megawatts
- Megawatts are shortened to MW with an upper case M and an upper case W.
- Mega means one million so there are 1,000,000 Watts in a megawatt.
