A spectrum is when the different wavelengths of visible light are separated.
About Spectra
- The spectrum of white light can be seen in a rainbow.
- A prism can be used to make a spectrum.
- The spectrum of white light is made of the following colours:
- Red
- Orange
- Yellow
- Green
- Blue
- Indigo
- Violet
- If a spectrum is made from non-white light then it may not have all these colours.
