Meaning
Precipitation is any instance in which water from the atmosphere collects on the ground.
About Precipitation
- Precipitation includes rain, snow, sleet, hail and dew.
- Most forms of precipitation fall from clouds. However, dew is a form of precipitation which condenses directly on the ground from the air.
