About Organelles
- Some organelles are bound by a membrane and referred to as membrane bound organelles. However, this is not true for all organelles such as the flagellum.
Examples
The nucleus is a membrane bound organelle in all eukaryotic cells. | The chloroplast is a membrane bound organelle found in plant cells and some protists. |
