Meaning

 
The bile duct can be seen coming out of the bottom of the liver. The branch to the right is the pancreatic duct which extends through the pancreas.

The bile duct is a tube which connects the gall bladder to the Small Intestine.

The bile duct allows bile to pass from the gall bladder to the Small Intestine.
